The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a leading UK manufacturer, specialising in medical and pharmaceutical industry. The company is extremely well established with over 25 years of manufacturing experience on its site in Burton-on-Trent, they supply to all the major blue chip companies. Due to continued growth in their market share they are looking to recruit a production team leader to add to the strong manufacturing team already in situ.
Key Skills
- Experience of Supervision or Management in Manufacturing
- Working Within an FMCG Production Environment
- Knowledge of Automated High Speed Process Environment
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of their team within manufacturing on site. You will be responsible for managing a team and the production on site. The ideal candidate will come from a fast moving manufacturing management or supervisory background, with the experience in lean manufacturing techniques, coupled with leadership and management. This will involve conducting appraisals with employees and confirm key performance indicators across all areas of production, to ensure that all targets are hit, to fulfil their customer requirements. This is a challenging role, though the rewards for success are excellent, with the opportunity to develop into a larger group wide role within this forward thinking organisation.
