Salary: £35,000 to £37,800 + Pension + Overtime
The Company
Based within one of the UK’s leading privately owned specialist metal based manufacturers my client is looking to recruit an experienced mechanical fitter to add to their existing engineering team. The company have been established over 100 years and have a reputation which is second to none, based on their technologically advanced processes, delivering high quality products.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of PPM and Reactive Maintenance
- Experience in Heavy or Process Industry
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working with equipment such as chemical, conveyors and processing machinery within a heavy engineering environment. In addition to this you will have the experience and ability to utilise the PPM system and have the responsibility for the mechanical maintenance, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this high speed manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will also have experience of an automated production facility and the ability to work within and a team or autonomously as required, this will lead to a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to a more senior role within this secure organisation.
