The Company
My Client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers within its field of glass process engineering and associated products supplying in to a wide variety of industries, such as construction and automotive. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The Goole site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.
Key Skills
- Ideally HNC or Degree qualified
- Experience of Maintenance Planning within Manufacturing
- Knowledge of CMMS or Reliability Based Maintenance Systems
The Role
You will be responsible for the ordering of parts, for repair, service and availability of machinery and functions across the entire site from an engineering point of view utilising the IT systems currently in place, together with the reactive maintenance and budgetary control, in a CMMS daily system. You will have a full understanding and appreciation of engineering, planning and scheduling and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance systems, working with equipment such as furnaces, conveyors and processing machinery within an automated environment. Working closely with production, operations & technical to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies. In addition to this you will have knowledge and experience of a team of multi skilled engineers and therefore ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of this manufacturing plant.
