Instrumentation & Controls Engineer – Hull
Contract: 12 Months
Days Based Role
Salary: £50,000 to £71,000 + Benefits
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s largest manufacturers within the FMCG market. They are a company specialising in the manufacture and converting of plastic based products. With a market leading presence, the company has been established for over 90 years, to become a dominant player in this global market, with over 1500 employees.
- Ideally Degree Qualified Engineer
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a Hazardous Environment
- Experience in Petrochemical, Chemical or Process Industry
You will need to be ideally a degree, or similar qualified engineer with an electrical and instrumentation bias and have medium to heavy machinery experience. If you have worked on DCS/PLC controlled systems and instrumentation based machinery, this would be a great advantage. Also, able and willing to work on chemical based machinery, condition monitoring and general process projects improvements and other associated manufacturing machinery. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities, including the use of the Maximo asset management system, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. The successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
