Field Service Engineer (Supervisor) – Scunthorpe

Location: Scunthorpe & Field Based
Salary: £34,000 – £38,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Pension + Company Vehicle
Days Based – Earn up to £43,000 with Bonus & O/T
The Company
My Client is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of turnkey power transmission solutions to a wide variety of industries. With a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength, with over 100 years of manufacturing experience and presence in over 30 countries worldwide, they have become centre of excellence within a variety of engineering solutions to the manufacturing industry. Due to further expansion, they have the need to recruit an additional field service engineer.

The Role
The successful candidate will be a mechanically biased engineer, who can service, commission and repair a variety of power transmission and fluid power machinery within a variety of industries. The role will include installations, servicing, repairing, building and rebuilding of systems. This will be a service based role covering clients across the UK, with some overseas travel. If you are not in the field, you will be supervising the team at Scunthorpe and involved in service plans at the Scunthorpe site. The ideal candidate will be from an engineering background, within similar hydraulics power transmission based machinery within a manufacturing process but will need to be aware that there needs to be flexibility in the role in terms of time spent travelling, as this is a field service engineering role. There is an excellent opportunity for further financial gains with overtime available for the engineers who desire, leading to earnings between £37,000 and £43,000 per annum.
