Key Skills
- Knowledge of Costings & New Product Introduction
- Experience of using AutoCAD
- Understanding of Manufacturing Environment
The Role
The successful applicant will have experience in design of products but also have skills in managing small projects, including dealing directly with clients. The candidate must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and the design of special purpose products, ideally including dimensional space planning. The successful applicant will be required to develop CAD models and create detailed manufacturing drawings for subcontract supply or ‘in house’ work processes. In addition to this if you have knowledge of working with sales teams and bills of materials, it would be extremely beneficial. Your mechanical design foundation will be developed hugely in this ingenious environment and this will lead to excellent career opportunities.
