My Client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of metal processing and associated aluminium based products. The company is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants in the UK, Europe, Asia and America. The UK site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.
Key Skills
- Qualified Engineer in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of PLC programming – Allen Bradley & Siemens
- Understanding of Robotics and Automation Systems
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from an engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a qualified engineer with an electrical bias (but have multi-skilled knowledge) and have Robotics, PLCs, PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day automation and programming activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. If you have worked on PLC systems such as Allen Bradley and Siemens it would be advantageous, they also have KUKA & Fanuc automated machinery on site and if you have knowledge of this would it be extremely beneficial. You will be able and willing to work on furnaces, ovens, conveyors, drives, motors, gearboxes, pumps and other process machinery. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
