The Company
An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s largest manufacturers within the FMCG market. They are a company specialising in the manufacture and converting of packaging based products. There is a strategic plan in place, where over £5 million will be invested in new machinery over the next couple of years, which will mean state of the art technology will be in place in this forward thinking group.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. You will need to be a time served engineer, with experience on a variety of machinery. On a day to day basis, you will work on conveyors, printers, flat beads, rotary die cutters, multipoint gluers, Strappers, shredders, compactors, and wrappers. The role involves a wide variety of both PPM and breakdown work including working with filter pumps and general mechanical work on pumps, conveyors, and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
